Worst Theif {(Found It)}! HoboKiller

Well here's my story....

It was a normal morning.I changed to my 74Nin,seek,and while seeking i thought i could get a few mins-hrs for skilling up smithing.I got a invite,and party headed over to Lufaise Meadows.Soon as we got there,the leader realized that he didn't have the area opened.So he found a replacement,and we just chilled in the area till the replacement came.

While we waited,i check the party info saw they were some heavy DD's.Party set up was Whm,Rdm,War,Rng,Thf,and last Nin (me).You would think that the main job for Thf, is to help nin control hate,meaning as mostly to support the Nin.

Well i was wrong.First off,he wouldn't pull the mob far enough back so i would be able to voke it so that it would face me,and not me being out in the area where i could get aggro form the other mobs.(we were fighin in an area some what like a halll)So i asked him could he please run alittle further back so it would help me and benfit me in a good way.He would not do if his life depending on it.

So i didn't want to make it a big fuss after asking more than 4 times,so i let it slide.Second thing he did was, or should i say didn't, was SaTA,TA,anything me.Soon as i voked,he SaTa the war.A lv75 galka war,gains hate very fast.SaTa'ing would only make it harder for me to gain,or take hate back.I asked if it was possiable,if he wanted to SaTa him or w/e,please do so after i 2nd voke at least,since he didn't want to do it on me.Once again he didn't want to listen.

Thing'sonly got worst from here.As the party went on,he would SaTa dancing edge on the war soon as i voked the mob for the first time!.I mean omg,come on cut me some slack this is getting very annoying.The whole party he kept tyring to compare to the Rng how much more,or close his ws'ing is doing compared to the Rng's slug shot.

Of course you know it was boud to happen.The war died.How you ask?Well HomoKiller,SaTa dancing edge on him soon as i voked,and war didn't have Utsusemi up.I tried my best to gain back hate.I samped my Ws's,Warcry,and voke.Even the Rng tried his best to grab hate on him.He slug shot,barrage,and 2hr'ed.It still all failed.Durning that pull (before war died),the thf would complain about how i wasn't voking fast enough when he got to camp.

Anyone who is a thf,rng, or any kind of puller knows that,Abraxas (those big birds,that looks like gaint eagles) runs fast and takes some or maybe all your shadows before you reach camp.The thf gets hit once for 200-something dmg,and complain's about being hit.I mean omg,if you going to bitch about being hit while pulling,be a mage.

So anyway's,when the war died,he started saying "How did the war die?". "You wasn't doing your job".Anyone who has played with me on either of my jobs (75Thf,75Rng, or my 74Nin) know's that i'am a decent player.I wouldn't call myself the best player,because i believe their isn't, "a best player".

To cut the story short,where me and Hobokiller (a.k.a Homokiller) had a arguement short,i just run off into the field,disband,and 2hr'ed.I got to hp in jeuno,and two of the player's said "Lol i would have doen the samething if i was the nin,or that would havehad happen to me".So to those other party member's who might be reading this,i'am sorry i left like that.I just coudln't take it anymore,and i'm sure any other Nin,would have had done the same.

yea well i m sry that there are people out there like that

but i have a question for you
i m a lvl11 taru thf and iw as wondering once i get SA(lvl15)and TA how should i SA/TA the right way and from which people? reading ur story makes me nervous about doing it the wrong way and making poeple hate me and never getting invites anymore.
so if u could post how i should do it the right way and what equip i should have for it at the low lvl that i am.

Well,it depends how your party want's to work with SaTA.Most time's,the other meele vokes,and u sata on the tank.

until you get Trick Attack, you don't have to worry too much about who. Just practice getting behind the mob and Sneak Attack (practice SA+WS too). At 30, when you get Trick Attack, what Myya said above.

i tried to lvl my THF but got ppl telling me that i would never get invites wat should i do? should i grab RNG and lvl it up to 15 (cause my thf is at like 7 or 8) or just lvl THF to about 20 then grab RNG? or wat? cause im a Galka(gilgamesh hates us Galka).

The one thing to consider is that everying in this game takes time. THF are strained for invites up until 15 when they get Sneak Attack. Then the allure of a THF dies off and they are strained for invites again until 33 when they have Viper Bite. And then THF gradually become more and more accepted. And stop saying Gilgamesh hates Galkas, lol. Galka's are very friendly and loyal! They're like, the BEST pets EVER!

And if you really think invites are bad, wait till you start raising DRG higher .__.

There are some THFs who can't do the one thing ppl invite them for, and that is to place Hate. Missing SATA, so forth and so on.

Honestly, I want to raise THF. Looks like a fun job. But the idiots rampant in the job makes invites impossible. I mean if you see a few good THFs in action, and you research your job, it's not hard -.-

Not to worry.
Once, I had a THF (around lv50) with macros that went like this; (I conclude)
/p Operator!!!!111 getr us outta here!!111111
/ja "Sneak Attack" <me>

/p jack us out!!!! divine power!!!!!!!!!!
/ja "Trick Attack" <me>

And it was horrible. None of his macros made sense at all, so you never even knew what the fuck he was doing. No matter how many times we asked him to change them, he wouldn't. --;

I'm sorry to hear about your bad expereience with a THF. Thanks for the heads up.

There are always bad players in every job. I basically like to depend on myself most of the time, if possible that is.

I'm a THF myself and I find that right now my main priority is just helping the tank keep hate, unless otherwise stated. Usually for NINs, it's always SATA or just TA on them. PLDs give me the flexibility on just throwing my SATA onto some other guy since most are very confident on their hate keeping ability.

I think THF is dying off again at this level (mid 60s). Our DMG cause . . . how should I put this . . . . eh . . . I think "sucks" is a pretty good word ^^. I'm only useful for placing hate, not really DMG. I wonder if that'll change. . . or maybe it's just the Tourmas in the Lab. of Onzozo.

I've found that Macros like those are pointless and overtime become annoying as hell. I use to do them . . . . . . god I was an idiot back then . . . . .

ooooOOoOOOoooo soo thats y i saw that mithra in jueno geting yeld at i saw her/him/it infrom of that pointy thing infont of mh and i just sat down and listen to the bad words fly then i heard like 5 people said they are calling a gm then i told my ls and then the laughter flowed throughout the night
